Day 1: The Perio-Restorative Interface – Soft Tissue, Biology, & Aesthetics

We will focus on the essential relationship between periodontics and restorative dentistry. Clinicians will learn how to approach treatment planning with the soft tissue foundation in mind, ensuring biologically sound, aesthetically pleasing, and long-lasting restorative outcomes.

Through case-based learning and hands-on training, participants will explore crown lengthening, management of gingival recession through soft tissue grafting, vertical preparation techniques, and the diagnosis and management of periodontal disease. This day emphasises clinical decision-making and surgical-restorative integration for aesthetic and functional success.

This day will cover:

  • Periodontal-Restorative Synergy – Understanding how soft tissue architecture supports restorative outcomes
  • Biologic Width & Tissue Biotype – Respecting anatomy to prevent inflammation, recession, and failure
  • Crown Lengthening – Indications, planning, and surgical techniques for functional and aesthetic cases
  • Soft Tissue Grafting – Managing gingival recession and improving peri-implant and restorative aesthetics
  • Vertical Preparation – A biologically driven alternative to horizontal margins in complex cases
  • Periodontal Disease – Diagnosis, risk assessment, and treatment planning in restorative patients.

Designed for restorative clinicians looking to elevate their outcomes through soft tissue mastery and biologically respectful planning

Day 2: Implant Dentistry – Planning, Prosthetics, & Soft Tissue Integration

We will cover a comprehensive introduction to implant dentistry, with a focus on restorative-driven planning and prosthetic rehabilitation. Participants will gain a clear understanding of when and how to incorporate implants into their treatment plans – from single units to full-arch restorations – through a biologically guided and patient-centred approach.

The course emphasises the importance of soft tissue management in achieving long-term success and aesthetics, covering everything from emergence profile design to digital workflows and communication with the lab. Whether you’re placing implants or collaborating with a surgeon, this day provides the essential framework for confident and effective implant rehabilitation.

This day will cover:

  • Introduction to Implant Treatment Planning – Case selection, diagnostic tools, and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Restorative-Driven Workflow – Planning implant placement with the final prosthetic outcome in mind
  • Single Tooth to Full Arch – Protocols for replacing one or multiple teeth with functional and aesthetic predictability
  • Soft Tissue Management – Strategies to sculpt, preserve, and enhance peri-implant tissues for natural emergence profiles
  • Impression Techniques & Scanning – Accurate capture of implant position for analogue and digital workflows
  • Prosthetic Options – Screw-retained vs. cemented, material selection
  • Communication with the Lab – Designing prosthetic outcomes through collaborative planning
  • Maintenance & Long-Term Success – Peri-implant care protocols to support the longevity of the restoration

Ideal for clinicians beginning their implant journey or those seeking to enhance their restorative role in implant cases, with a deeper focus on soft tissue and prosthetic precision.
